Glassmill Pond Plans

Thames21 have published the following documents showing how the pond should look after the renovation.

Proposed plan of pond

This shows how the recovered silt and other materials will be used to create both a viable river channel and an open pond area. This will improve the biodiversity of this pond as well as reflecting its heritage.

This shows cross-sectional views of the pond at various points. Refer to plan view for locations of sections.

Longitudinal section of pond

This shows the profile of the pond, with the weir on the right.
